uh oh...my friends are all chubby
Phew, luckily my dad and my boyfriend are slim. LOL
But this does make some sense I guess... it's the mentality that says "If he isn't skinny for me, why should I sacrifice all that icecream, burgers, and chocolate for him?" LOL

Pat, you're quite correct, of course. 'Feasting' is so much part of sociability, and not just in our culture. It's probably a paleolithic atavism which, once confined to special occasions, can now be indulged in every day, because we have such abundance...

There's nothing inherently wrong with microwaving. You only get fat if you eat too much, which even happens if you eat raw food. But they weren't interested in factors we know already anyway, only in one we were not yet aware of...
