Xeno-x, you speak the truth here. Until the American public crawls out from in front of their televisions that are rotting their brains with inane reality shows and half-assed news programs that merely parrot each other and say absolutely nothing, and start giving a crap about something other than how much crap they can buy at Wal-Mart, it ain't gonna change, either.

Re: Having lived through his mayordom of Cleveland in the 70's, it's hard
my problem is all the other Democratic candidates, with the possible exception of Barak Obama seem to be two-faced and cowardly in many of these issues, parroting the President sometimes where the President is clearly wrong, changing opinions as often as a pop singer changes clothes on music videos, blowing with the perceived wind of public opinion.
We need solid candidates for leader. But that probably won't happen. The real powers in this country had a taste of Bush, their fine puppet, and they won't settle for anything less that a similar puppet to their interests.

Re: He's an idiot..........
actually socialism isn't too bad an idea.
the idiot is the one who lied to get us into an unnecessary war, where there was no merit or cause to enter a sovereign country, suppressed all information that would have demonstrated the invalidity of all his arguments and statements, or cowed what is called the "liberal news media" into not merely virtual silence on the issue, but supportive stories.
idiots are those who will maintain that the war needs to continue and bring our country to an ignominious downfall as a result.
