I self published a book of poetry in Lulu, even went to far as to buying a few copies and tried selling them on ebay. No one bought them. I know that is not the end of that but I there was too much going on for me to be able to pursue it further. When you self publish you got to do your own publicity and I wouldn't even know where to start!

It is worth it.. being published is all I've ever *really* dreamed of, but I didn't start submitting my poems until about 3 years ago... have had about 35 published since then and it is a wonderful feeling.. still dream about having a whole book of my own poetry published but that's really hard to get to.. although I self-published a book on lulu.com - that's a really good way to start if you're interested in having a look at the site...
