These things definitely take on a personality contest mantle,
blacksnow.  I mean, look at American Idol and other shows dependent upon voting...

I can imagine, robinspeaks. I grew up with a couple guys with that innate
sense of humor.  It's an amazing gift.  I believe Lavell Crawford is also that way.  These two guys were just too funny...

John Reep
Absolutely love him.  We saw him at a comedy club here in my hometown.  When we saw him on Last Comic, my husband were both so surprised.  He was even funnier in person, as you can probably imagine!

I missed all but the last three episodes this year. Oh, and the first two.
I missed only a couple last year.  I'm a big fan of Josh Blue.  You got to hand it to a man who makes money off of his disabilities instead of spending money on them...

I actually watched the final to this last night....they drag that stuff out dont they lol...I was quiet suprised some of them made it as far as they did....and that Ant on the judging panel drives me nuts...hes not that funny himself and what a biatch. lol

Im glad Reep won I really like him...thou I kind of figured he won when I saw him do a comedy spot on comedy central last week lol  This was acutally the first time I have watch most of the show, the other seasons I would catch a few episodes and not even know who won lol

I'm not sure, Offy, but I think they rerun the shows on Bravo or some other
cable channel...

I see it advertised alot but haven't watched it yet!

I'm not a big fan of the paranormal shows, Whacky, but I'm glad you
got to see some funny people.  With shows like "Medium" and "Ghost Whisperer", I can't suspend my disbelief when these people start "seeing" things.

Let's be fair, blacksnow. You'd have to be deaf and blind not to see that
the man is uncomfortably unfunny...

You're missing a pretty good laugh, riri...

Yeah, that's the ticket all right!
I started watching cause the show was in the same time slot as "Medium" and I kept recording it!
Roses from me and Bo =^..^= the wonder dog!

Not only do I share your interest & enthusiasm for this series/show

I also agree about Bellamy. I don't usually dance to "I agree, I always Agree." peaceAUMtatSAT

I watched a couple of episodes of "Hell's Kitchen", FineYoungSinger,
but I try to steer clear of most reality shows (except the game shows).  They're too staged to be "reality", and it shows.  That for some odd reason annoys the hell out of me...

By the way, M., I love WKRP...

Sorry, M., but just knowing Comedy Central has renewed her worthless show

for another season... well, then, she's fair game.  Even the self-deprecating pseudo-humor in her promos isn't funny.  You can tell she's making every attempt, but... she's worse than my 13-year-old and he's not funny at all... And that's what her humor reminds me of: children trying to impress their parents or friends after getting a laugh by continuing to try to be funny, but failing miserably.  That's Sarah Silverman...

As for the judging scandal on "Last Comic Standing", I don't know.  I missed one whole season and there was a season that the wimpy "Yes, Dear" star hosted (he still wasn't as bad as Bill Bellamy, but he tried his damnedest) that I saw onkly a couple episodes.  I remember there was a huge dust-up over the first season's winner, Dat Phan, who really wasn't that funny and people beleive he won on the sympathy vote.  There were a bunch of comedians who came off that show that trashed him.  There were a bunch of comedians who weren't on there that trashed him.  My wife hated him and I thought he was pretty lame, but, hey, we didn't vote, so we can partially blame ourselves -- right?

I've not watched it...I'm hooked on another reality show:
Top Chef.  Love that Tom Colicchio!

I only watched it once (a couple years ago).

Though, at that time, I'm pretty sure the host was a dorky white guy. And the "top" performers were a hairy "Weird" Al Yankovic-wannabe and some guy in a wheelchair.

P.S. Wasn't there a voting "scandal" on that show, btw?

P.P.S. More Sara Silverman bashing?

Baby, if you've ever wondered,
Wondered what ever became of me.
I'm living on the air in Cincinnati,
Cincinnati WKRP.
