As I said, we used to do it when I was an assistant high school coach so I don't really have a problem with it either.
However, he was warned by the league not to do it. It's like speeding. If the cops warn you, you must slow do for if you get caught again you will get a ticket. The Pats had their warning, now they get the ticket.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I think it was pretty ingenious.
Isn't that part of the job? Trying to figure out what the hell the other team is doing? So he planned in advance...
