In that case, my dear mneme, I applaud your decision! I would miss your writing too much!

It can be fun, but I don't hold my breath. I might turn blue waiting LOL.

Now, that would be nice - that's quite a collection of smiles there, and thank you.

Thanks - though I have a feeling it would have been pretty warm up there. Where there's one call, there may be others. I favour the young-at-heart MIL figure now my children are grown. Not quite ready for the grandmother figure yet.

I was too busy for them:) plus I found it would be in the Northern Territories. No thanks. Hot enough here when summer hits. And I would never be too busy to blog altogether.

The back of my head was all that was seen in the last one LOL. And, BTW, I meant a French 'twist' in the tale, but felt it was a bit obscure - so I changed the title.

Kate and Keira couldn't get flights, Dubbya's entourage took up all the spare seats.

It would be very ironic, but it could be fun - and profitable, mneme.

I used to see this cute lady on the #60 bus in Seattle --
She was always working as an extra in movies there, said it was lots of fun. Then she got into a nation-wide commercial. but another one much more recently. And now I see her from time to time as one of the neighbors on Wisteria Lane, "Desperate Housewives."

I guess I'm a little behind the times.  I thought a French twist was a goody you buy at the bakery.

When Son #3 lived in Portland, OR where lots of movies are made, he used to be an extra a lot, until the time they cast him as a leering lecher sitting in a bar peering up at a practically nude pole dancer.  He was very embarrassed as he does not frequent those places and kept thinking "what if someone I know sees me in this movie".  That was the end of his desire to be an extra.  LOL

If you meet Keira Knightley, can you bring her with you when I meet you in the lakes.

It can be quite boring. I find you can always manage a joke or two once you get to know people. But there is a lot of waiting around, and I can't manage two months.

I've always been interested in the 'extras casting' job. Some of my
friends seem to like it very much, but tell me it can be very boring. One was cast as an extra in a midievel type movie, but the powers to be became very upset, when they saw a newspaper poking out of his pocket(lol) I still might give it a shot one day. No, can't say as I have seen to many sculptered nails on characters portraying the early settlers of Austarlia. lol Good Luck
