Thanks Tristan, certainly not the best poem
I started on the whole letter thing, remembering how couples in the past used to spend months apart, just writing to each other and keeping their spirits up about seeing each other one day. My husband and I met on the internet, so we our relationship was like that for 10 months, writing e-mails and sending cards. However... there is another person in my life whom I was never so lucky with. He did write me one letter (which I burned later)... but our love really was (is?) marked by fear, living in the shadows, secrets, etc.

What has happened to the letter!
I love it...makes me travel to a time when love was not so fickle, and I cannot say this of all love though. You are expressing so much, it is wonderful!
