As you know, I ain't a poet, but I know enough to recognize good poetry when I see it, and the poem of yours that TAPS 'plagiarized' is not just good, it is superb! And you really owe it to yourself to let it go out into the world beyond this sleepy hollow called Blogitville...

Justi - I have read and enjoyed your poetry. The poem you posted on the
anniversary of your son's death is still vivid in my mind.  Blessings to you.

I so appreciate your comments on my page. You and I disagree on many political points and a lot perhaps on religion yet I fully appreciate you. I don't have to be rubber stamped to see the value and beauty in others. You have a heart as big as all outdoors and you are very talented. Some of you make me hesitate to put my stuff out there; you are good and you know your craft the way a good actor knows his script.

I can see that in the small ways she pops up in your writing she had all the fruits of the spirit and just an ace mom.

Justi, you gotta face it, dear Lady! ~ You are very gifted in this art
of writing; be it poetry or prose. When I read your poems, I am moved, touched, amazed; wondering if you realize how good you truly are. Thank you so much, sweet Friend for the lovely mention - made my day brighter and lighter!

That is the sweetest story. I think your mom was very special in many ways and some of your special ways came from mama I think.

Great post, Justi, especially since I am mentioned. HAHAHA
You should use your poetry whenever and wherever you have opportunity.  You know what my mom used to do.  She was never published anywhere at any time but she loved to write poetry.  So, when her adult ladies of her Sunday School Class voted her to be their secretary, she took minutes of their class meetings and made poetry out of it to read at the next meeting.  From that moment on, she was asked to write poems for anything and everything.  The church began to put them in their church bulletin.
