A-and-B--
No they aren't. If you read the post to the end, you can see how the title and body are connected.

Are they meant to provoke? The title and body seem detached.

Good point Julia,

I could be the poster child for irritating. I'm 'enlightened' to this fact, seeing as many eyes glaze over as I have in my past. But, as far as posting here, I claim the 5th and can be as irritating as I choose because I'm not forcing my 'enlightenment' or posts regarding spirituality on anyone. (My comments can go unread or another can block me as well). It's like hanging up the telephone or not answering it, our choice.

I created my new journal blog called juxtaposed because I will be journaling my day to day experiences regarding incidence that collide between my dreams, my insights and my physical experiences. Other than a few kindred souls here on Blogit, I have a cousin, my brother, son, grandmother & mother with whom I share my insight. They are also kindred souls and share their spiritual incidence with me as well.

My life in the physical is intence. My work is highly stressful and I have many responsibilities with family as well. If I didn't go 'inward' and renew myself spiritually daily, I would be overwhelmed physically, mentally & emotionally. I've learned through life's turmoil & trials and a chronic pain disorder, that viewing my life through God's eyes (spiritually) is where my balance lies.

I have life-long friends and family that understand this part of who I am but I would not 'inflict' my spirituality on anyone without provocation. I'm not here to sell anyone a barrel of goods. Each of us have our own journey.

Even so, sometimes spirits collide and we may feel a connection and offer an insight to another or thank them for what they have contributed to our growth, the blessings they have given us, maybe not even to their knowledge. Everything of God is given of love and received by love, so sometimes it is difficult to discern our feelings or intentions with another and sometimes misunderstandings can occur. Other times our connections may seem so overwhelmingly blatant it is difficult to restrain from expressing our insight. (I'm still learning), even so everything is in God's timing so others may not see the connection we may attempt to convey for quite some time.

Julia, as an example; I have found it is more times than not, that our insight is premature to God's timing. We may finally understand the plan a year after the insight was presented. Actually, for some reason I have seen most insights played out within twelve months of the initial revelation. That is where faith comes into play.

I may be spiritually all over this place here expressing myself, but in my physical life I'm either a brainiack in my work & responsibilities  this guy, or I'm a tea-tipping todler, roaring with laughter, dancing and singing karaoke  this guy. My spirituality is where my balance lies and where my creativity lies; when I'm drawing, painting, playing music, singing, dancing or writing I draw from that third person; hence the balance between body, mind & spirit.

~Blessings~

Your posts are never going to be irritating, at least to me. I'm the kind of person who is free and open to other's ideas, lifestyles, customs, habits, etc.

Me likes
But I don't always get to read these since I want to be in the right frame of mind when I do read them.  So I usually play catch up once a week or so.

An irritation can sometimes cause someone to perhaps scratch the itch (or itch the scratch) and then start looking for an answer to the question. For instance, what am I doing here? I don't believe in psychic ability at all, but it's something that interests me. I'm a total skeptic, yet here I am. So perhaps you can be a total unbeliever and still ask questions. Perhaps, therefore, a tiny bit of evangelism (in the broad sense) is a good thing, but not too much of it such that the listener closes their ears.

Don't know whether I'm making sense. Tara for now.

Absolutely great post Julia........I think most of it boils down to soul

growth...i.e., young soul and old soul. A young soul still has a lot to learn and will not become enlightened for quite some lifetimes. However, the old soul having gone through all the stages from infant soul to old soul, is ready. They will be attracted to the things that enlighten. I never try to convince anyone of anything. If they are ready they will seek. I believe that everyone is where they should be on the evolutionary ladder. However, I also believe that the more enlightened we become and closer to our true self, we become more psychic. I call this the "perks of the path!" I could tell you some psychic stories...and lots of them funny! LOL

Julia... he has a good point there... I usually get very

excited when I discover new things about life (spiritual and other) and I just feel like rushing out and sharing it with everyone ... I guess I irritate A LOT of people. LOL

Great post
