Such a group is very helpful. It is helping our fiction and non-fiction because two of us are bloggers, plus being fiction writers. I think any time you can get immediate, constructive feedback to you work-it helps. The best thing about my group, is we feed each other's ideas. It is a very supportive, inspiring group.

I used to attend such a group and it was quite helpful to my fiction
writing experience at the time, though I'm not much of a fiction writer...
