Justi, this post has inspired me to go to Hendersonville, NC to visit their
"Curb Market". It is a place where only NC grown produce can be sold and only made by hand in NC arts and crafts can be sold. I love buying fresh veggies from the back of pick-up trucks in the parking lot, and homemade goodies inside like...a slice of sour cream pound cake or a pan of still warm cinnamon rolls. There are dried flowers, fresh cut flowers, and potted flowers to be bought...oh, I just wish you would come visit me so we could go together! Wouldn't we have fun? You are an angel for cooking for your working friends!

I love this time of year, all those fresh fruits and vegetables.  I also have trouble cooking for two.  I'll always miss my kids and whenever I can get them to come and eat, I'll cook for them.  The grandkids love it too.  We are blessed, aren't we, Justi?  God bless.  Love ya.

Good for you. I guess I would have gone crazy and bought four or five. I bought three this morning and I know we will eat them before they go bad. We love them.

Usually the best you can get is...
two for $5.00.  I just happened upon an unannounced bargain.

I am devouring the best and juiciest canteloupe ever and it only cost me 78 cents.   Can't stay away from it.
