E

The last thing of his I read was called 'Immigration Blues', and I found it quite good, as far as it went. Mind you, in my view he did not stress the long-term problems sufficiently, and he should also have called it the 'Illegal Immigration Blues'!

Anyway, get yourself a sailboat, you'll like it...

Never been a boat fan, sail or power - never been an ocean/lake/river fan - maybe it's just too "Kennedy," for me - Then again, William F. Buckley, Jr. used to sail, so who knows? I do wish that I could have afforded tickets for that new "Titanic," they built - that they were (this time), smart enough - not to label as, "unsinkable!" And they have enough lifeboats this time, just in case!

Their display of 'intelligence' suggests to me these guys have no clue about handling a boat, and they will be a hazard for other boaters...

Re: Not an auspicious beginning. Is this called the Titanic Two?
Pat, I suspect with these two the end won't be much better. Accidents happen, but its just not done to ride your boat into the water when she's in the sling - anyone who does that is a complete idiot! And the guy in the crane should not have them allowed to do it. He's an idiot as well!

Even if they are okay, what a loss? If money can buy it we will take a chance on it. Goofy!

They were lucky they were over the water. If they had dropped on to the hard, they wouldn't be doing much of anything again...

Mary, I sail! I will step on a power boat only to help them when they're in distress...But come to think of it, some of my best friends own power boats...
