So you did...:) and if I had five pounds I'd probably mail it to you (were it not illegal to send currency through the post).

Hi Durbin
Nice to be missed.. I have a cold at the moment. Yes, I did say I like hibiscus, and thank you for the photo.  They are in hibernation at the moment here.

Thanks for dropping in. - I tend to agree with you, when you wiegh up and compare his time (and hourly rate) with the cost of annual membership.

I really see I have to drop in more often! As to your vehicular problems, three letters: AAA! Join! I have had our Canadian version (CAA) for years, and they will get you out of any mess, self-created or not, and do it cheerfully...

Thank you...! I watched a dvd recently, called Peaceful Warrior (Nick Nolte), which also talked about being fully present in the moment; I can tell you there are a lot of moments I'd rather not have been "present" in, but I'm still here and still talking :)

thanks - and if you mean opportunity in terms of writing material, I have about 200,000 words in my "situation" - most of it unpublishable..! I do take your point though, no use letting things get to you.

it would have been a lot easier if I had taken care of it myself :) all I have to do now is work out how to re-program the radio stations...

mneme, I am happy to have any small part in inspiring a post from you! You
make the mundane so readable, so very lovely. Life is what happens to us every minute of every hour of every day...it is satisfying to pay attention, to "be here now". It is a blessing to become untangled from our pasts and to not be so enamored of what might be someday that we miss what is going on in our lives today. Deliberately living life...in the now...is a good thing, a very good thing. Thanks you for sharing , again, such a well-written account of where you now find yourself. More, please

So sorry about your fall my friend, but it seems you have a 'live in' pain in the neck that is more bothersome by half as me mum would've said luv. Can't believe you just didn't take a cab home and tell him where the car was, end of story. Blessings luv.....

Hi Mneme - sorry to hear about the fall and the neck - hope better now!
Anyway, you seem to be coping ok and getting on with things rather thn moping around - that's the best way - look for the opportunities in the situation.

They do, but that turned out not to be the problem LOL. It was the car battery, after all that LOL. At least my spouse didn't grump too much.

mneme - I didn't know those automatic key thingies needed batteries.
Who knew?  How frustrating for you.  Hope you've rested now.

Mneme....Sometimes I feel certain days....
are only meant as roadblocks, and once we get through them....we are warmed by the thought of home and relaxation. I hear you with the dinner, my family is never home at the same time, making suppertime a mystery.  Hope you are feeling better, and have a better day tomorrow thanks for sharing.
