You're not kidding, either! It makes it hard for businesses like our photography studio. But I think we'll make it.

Health expenses are scary, adding to everything else that is too high.    Take care of yourself, LadyCeeMarie.

LadyCee,
So many US Citizen's do not agree and I've heard & read so many arguments. My only retort (because I'm not the retorter kind) and don't much like debate. I haven't the energy or desire to debate; is if someone has not had an acute, chronic or terminal illness, disease or syndrome, they have no room for debate. To me it seems so simple to explain; if you have money you get to live or not suffer and if you don't, OH WELL! That's the way the cookie crumbles. God says, (and I quote him quite often), every living soul has the right to food, shelter and basic health (not insurance, just basically anything it takes not to suffer or access to basically whatever it takes to be healthy), and from then on, sure, we make choices and we're on our own....but please, I do not advocate welfare or irresponsibility, but every living being has the right to simply live. If only the wealthy are healthy than how do the unhealthy become wealthy? It's not about me or you, but about us as human beings.  We're all in this together. When one suffers, we all suffer. Prayers & blessings to you.

Thanks for the attention to SICKO. Keep well Dear One--Goodnight/Shalom All

SONNET 07172007: Looking with Gratitude

A busy Monday, I would keep it bright

But then again, addiction to writing

ate into my restful hours; time was tight

and I kept someone important waiting

There was some static, also hurt feelings

(I kept recalling, "Bless those that curse you!")

Who assisted in my being fair, blessings

and not rushing to judgement? (Your Guide too?)

Is available if we walk the talk

Because faith is not in words; but living

like a sibling, good neighbor, friend, a rock

Soaking sonlight 'midst waves calm or surging

The prize is to end each thanking God

For dreams that turn a bad day into Good
