Lucky you! Yes, the scale is very intersting. He was a rather large man! After reading the NYT article, I was suggesting to my husband that since we will be in the US in August-Septemebr we could pop down to Mexico and see the exhibit, but it closes at the end of August. Another time. CHeers.

Greenfields, wonderful post. I saw the Frida Kahlo exhibition
at the Tate Modern in London two years ago. I remember noticing the differences in scale between her and her husband in the paintings. I also saw his work in Mexico City at the Zocalo.

Greenfields - Why is it that artists' lives together seem rife with such
challenges? It's a wonder there isn't more sensitivity. I read about their marriage and shook my head. You're right, her paintings make you stop and stare. I'd love to see them in person one day. Good post. Thank you.
