Hi Naut
Welcome back. I sympathize with your concerns but if you listen to the news you'll find out that there is an average of two suicde bombing in Muslim countries everyday. a week ago about 70 people were killed half in Afghanistan and the other half in Iraq. my question to you is if your pool of suspects is limited to Muslims living in or coming into the west then it is easier to screen those confined communities than it is to scour an entire country of Muslims for possible suicide bombers as is the case here in the Middle East. There are profiles for the kind of people who are likely to commit such things, and Muslim communities will collaborate with authorities becuase they would suffer too. we had a bout of bombings in Syria about 20 years ago so they instilled the tightest security system, they didn't have servailnce cameras like today but they did manage to resotre order and we have not had any serious incidents since. It is possible to stop these people before they do anything nasty but it does demand sacrifices on the part of people.

Re: Naut, I heard about this and read about it, although if you listen to
Rumored, I can think of several prime targets right here in my neck of the woods!

Good afternoon, Offy
It is very disturbing! And no one really knows what to do about it...

Naut, I heard about this and read about it, although if you listen to
Sean Hannity, you'd think the U.S. was the only country in any danger...Liz and I took a little vaca trip last week to a place right here in Ont. that could be a prime target, and it's not a big city....

Corbin
it's not a problem at all! I mean, we want to inform as best we can! It's just the old Corbin-Naut tag team operation again...

Naut.......
Sorry to have cross posted........I am still on the road so my reading time is very limited to looking for topics........and I can't read as much here on Blogit as I need to.........

As to the question......The last lines of the video says some have already been caught coming into Pakistan with European passports.......I guess the old adage about it being better to be safe than sorry applies here......

I know one official dismissed the video as propaganda.....but that very comment could be the very same thing......a " reverse-propaganda" approach?

Nautikos
Ali and Mohammed are panhandling on the Toronto subway.
Ali drives a Mercedes, lives in a mortgage free house and
has a lot of money to spend. Mohammed, on the other hand,
only brings in 2 to 3 dollars a day.

Mohammed asks Ali how he can bring home a suitcase full of
$10.00 bills everyday.

Ali says, "Look at your sign. It say 'I have no work, a wife
and 6 kids to support'."

Mohammed then looks at Ali's sign. It reads 'I only need another

$10.00 to move back to my country'.

That works for me and let's do it quick
