I have missed this post before...you want to know why I love blogit?
Those "free" blogs, I think, don't get read as much. I also know that they hardly get any comments! I love the instant feedback that you get here. It makes me feel good that someone is reading me and they feel like my post deserves a comment. I have made many friends here on blogit, and like Corbin said, it's a family, it's a community of people that care for one another. You can't get that anywhere else. It's worth the price you pay to be here. I can also honestly say, that I have made money on blogit. It's not much but I do. Of course, that doesn't matter to me. It's the people.
Give blogit a chance before you talk bad about it, eh?

I guess I'm not as gracious as everyone else that has commented because
I see no need to be rude and offensive to the writers on Blogit. You said in your post,
"There are very few substantial posts, and I can read other better blogs elsewhere, FOR FREE." Why wait the month.....Don't let the door.......well you know the rest!

If you're looking to earn money writing on-line, Blogit is not the place. However there are some posters of whom do post about other places to earn money. homegirl is one of them. Read her. I wish you the best of luck finding what you're looking for.

Uhhh.......
Because it's like a family or close knit community.....we have our differences.....our opinions.....our losses....and our joys......we share them through our writing. If you're looking for a material world......perhaps it's best to let your membership expire and move on......

If you come to my blogs on blogging, you'll get a sense of what my
experience of blogging has been at various points of time. There were also times when I felt it's more about payments and less about earning and learning. But over Time I've come to relish my space at blogit. Have come by many interesting people ( don't know how they are in real life, but they are much inspiration in cyberspace). I haven't earned more than I paid. Initially I paid more than I earned. But I consider it like a club membership that enables me to keep writing and knowing what different others in different parts of my own country and the world are thinking and reading some very well-written stuff as well.
