Playing hide and seek near the wall

That's right, Kabu! Why did he run away from me? And why wasn't he holding the balloon by its string?

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 10:47 PM | link to this | reply

Thanks, Whacky.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 10:45 PM | link to this | reply

Assuming he was actually invited, Frankenkitty, he'd then be entitled to that party balloon.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 10:45 PM | link to this | reply

Well, be that as it may, Scriber ... even if my gardener were planning a criminal act,

I seriously doubt he would tell me about it.

You and me both, Offy.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 10:41 PM | link to this | reply

Grandma here you be careful and tell other members of the family. I don't
like this much. What was with the watching you and what about that balloon? Worried !

Hummm...it was funny.
A rose and a smile from me! and A rose and a smile from Bo! =^..^= woof!

Okay, not a manny.
You didn't ask him about the balloon.  Take care

Re: Two bad he wasn't planning a major heist. Better story I think. Or he
could have been planning to come back and rap you when things quieted down.

The way you discribed him I was thinking he was probably on America's Most Wanted..glad the zipper was up!

hm, I made a typo in my last comment (as always). Sorry.

quick wit!
liquid, solid, and gas... but then, see, they are all one of the same. Deep.

p.s. my political professor always said: "there are three kinds of people in the world. Those who go out and try a make a different, those who don't care, and the rest who walk about and wonder 'what happened!' all day."

Animal, vegetable, and mineral?

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 11:37 AM | link to this | reply

Actually, my bad, three.

posted by bandanafish on May 29, 2007 at 11:35 AM | link to this | reply

No, actually, there are four kinds.

posted by bandanafish on May 29, 2007 at 11:34 AM | link to this | reply

Well, you see, bandana, there are two kinds of people in this world ...

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 11:32 AM | link to this | reply

Hm, go WHICH route?
That was what I said, she was a sexed up version of Norah Jones, not the plain old Norah Jones.

posted by bandanafish on May 29, 2007 at 11:22 AM | link to this | reply

Not that I go that route ...

But Morgan Webb has a way better body than Norah Jones. Not even close! No comparison.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 11:18 AM | link to this | reply

Her body is too big.
She does look like a variation of Norah Jones-- they have the same hair.

posted by bandanafish on May 29, 2007 at 11:14 AM | link to this | reply

I don't see that, bandana.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 11:05 AM | link to this | reply

She's the co-host of this show I watch ...

She's not pretty per se, but I think she's cool because:

a) she's really funny.

b) she has an interesting voice.

c) she looks like a witch (all she needs is the pointy hat and a broom).

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 11:04 AM | link to this | reply

You know who Morgan Webb reminds me of?
A sexed up Norah Jones.

posted by bandanafish on May 29, 2007 at 11:02 AM | link to this | reply

I'm not really familiar with Morgan Webb.
But, of course, I googled. She does have some nice pictures, but some strange ones, too. Not exactly my type, though.

Why?

I didn't really like Adrienne, either. She was really funny, but I just didn't think she deserve 1st place.

posted by bandanafish on May 29, 2007 at 10:59 AM | link to this | reply

Probably not, bandana.

And I didn't care for Adrienne, actually. She was kinda low class and mannish, imo.

P.S. Do you like Morgan Webb?

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 10:52 AM | link to this | reply

If you were really poor, would you consider being a gardener?
I heard cycle 1 winner of ANTM, Andrianne Curry, actually took on some gardening job after she won the show (when she was home, waiting for the last episode to air.)

posted by bandanafish on May 29, 2007 at 10:50 AM | link to this | reply

Thanks, riri ... and I don't think I could, even if I wanted to.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 10:40 AM | link to this | reply

you are an amazing.. never stop writing!!!!!

Thank you very much, Troosha ...
I figure tossing in little details like that helps create a mental picture without "bogging things down" too much or disrupting the conversational flow.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 9:43 AM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle
Mystery solved....  you sure can tell a story (all the way down to the onion dip).

posted by Troosha on May 29, 2007 at 9:28 AM | link to this | reply

No, TAPS, it was apparently just Miguel.

(At least until further notice.)

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 9:26 AM | link to this | reply

What a lovely image, bandana!

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 9:25 AM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle
It sounded like you had a serial killer, or at least a bandido, in your garden and that you were about to expose him (since he didn't expose himself).

posted by TAPS. on May 29, 2007 at 9:21 AM | link to this | reply

Yes, I did (and replied), fair Mademoiselle.
I'm sitting on my edge, waiting for that "important" one (while cleaning my nostrils, with my finger... and eating chips.)

posted by bandanafish on May 29, 2007 at 9:16 AM | link to this | reply

Says you, bandana.

P.S. Did you get my last email? Cause there's another (important) one on the way.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 9:10 AM | link to this | reply

Re: Sadly, that position has already been filled, Whysper.
Dubious.

posted by bandanafish on May 29, 2007 at 9:08 AM | link to this | reply

In what sense, TAPS?

Besides, one should never assume ... it makes an ass of Uma Thurman (or something like that).

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 9:03 AM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle, I assume there is more to come.

posted by TAPS. on May 29, 2007 at 8:58 AM | link to this | reply

Sadly, that position has already been filled, Whysper.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 8:55 AM | link to this | reply

You know who he kinda looks like now (with the moustache), bandana?
That dude on the coffee cans!

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 8:55 AM | link to this | reply

Um.... tend your gardens?

That is loaded, even I won't stoop to the obvious replies.

However, I am for rent as a stalker, I'm not very good at it but am willing to improve with practice.

posted by Whysper on May 29, 2007 at 8:54 AM | link to this | reply

Well, just don't make a habit of it, Whysper.
Unless, of course, you're willing to tend the gardens at a lower rate.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 8:53 AM | link to this | reply

And before Juan, he was Carlos, Pedro, Raul...

posted by bandanafish on May 29, 2007 at 8:52 AM | link to this | reply

Ok, I admit it
It was me in my Miguel disguise, I hope you enjoyed the party as much as I did, seniorita.

posted by Whysper on May 29, 2007 at 8:49 AM | link to this | reply

That's a good point, Hazel.
Perhaps that's, like, his secret to better gardening. A "yellow thumb", if you will.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 8:43 AM | link to this | reply

In season, I think he's full-time with us, bandana.
Or at least he used to be. (When his name was Juan.)

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 8:42 AM | link to this | reply

LMFAO !..Thank goodness , you caught him before he watered your tree..lol

posted by hazel_st_cricket on May 29, 2007 at 8:39 AM | link to this | reply

Your mother was probably just feeling graciously hospitable.
Or maybe he had a gardening job nearby, and thought he'd come to see you.

posted by bandanafish on May 29, 2007 at 8:37 AM | link to this | reply

That's a good question, bandana ...
I was so relieved he wasn't a murderer, I didn't think to check whether he had an official invite or not.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 29, 2007 at 8:28 AM | link to this | reply

Haha. SO do you guy only pay him in cash?
Why was he invited to the party, though?
