Re: Hello Matie!

Thank you. Give her my regards.

Today was horrible. Major parts of the city were in complete chaos and the only Tv station informing it was Globovision channel 33. The other channels were as if nothing was happening. It's a terrible feeling that you desperately want to know what's going on and you flicker through channels and you just can't , so I have to go over to the Internet or the radio to get a glimpse.

Hello Matie!
Welocme to Blogit. I am a teacher of Dutch, and I have a class in which is also a lady from Venezuela (actually, from Isla Margarita). She's called Yvonne Martinez. She has often talked about the situation in Venezuela.

Re: Re: Re: Your english isn't so bad.--is it true that good dope is hard to

Actually, there's two alleys outside my neighborhood (two or three blocks from my home) where they sell it, (no, I don't do drugs, this is what the people in-the-know have told me LOL). Also, these dealers sometimes steal the lunch to the little children that pass by to attend the public school that is near them. But that's another subject related to poverty and the underworld in these countries that I will tackle later. Thank you.

find in South America, since most is exported.

Re: Your english isn't so bad.

LOL  You may be referring to the Miss Venezuela pageant, which is not owned by the government (yet!) but by Venevision channel 4.

This guy, Osmel Sousa, is the 'manager' of all the contestants, and yes, it's been well known around here that if your daughter, cousin, sister, etc gets to participate in the pageant, you will never recognize her ever again after that.

Anyways, I will be writing a series of articles over the next few days about the common perception that the world has about the Latin American countries, and your comment was interesting in that respect. Thank you.

Your english isn't so bad.

(I understood it, anyway.)

Btw, I heard that your government forces women to have radical plastic surgery, just so they can win beauty pageants ... is this true?
