I read this three times but I am not sure what I read. Are we talking about babies or male adults. Oh my God.... They think we are immoral? That is the most absurd thing I ever heard of in my life. So a grown male co-worker suckling at a female breast dueing work or school hourse is a sure sign there is no sexual connection? Huh? Well now I have heard the limits to insanity going to school or work.

I kinda think attempting to breast feed from a co-worker here in the

U.S. would lead to a harassment charge. This story would be funny if it weren't so stupid.

The point of the post is regarding the activities of the Islamist......

and that is what I wrote about........No where in the post is there any broad sweeping indictment of Islam.......I gave the link to the whole story for anyone who wanted to see the rest of the details.....

I made the point I had intended to make....the absurdity of the Islamists.........

This was the action/opinion of one disgraced professor

and it's weird and disgusting to me too, but it was one person's opinion..and it didn't actually happen.

Just a thought, Corbin...doesn't Fox news pride themselves on being fair and balanced?...a thought; no negativity intended. In the spirit of that journalistic quality, here's an excerpt from the rest of the story:

CAIRO (Reuters) - Cairo's al-Azhar Islamic University on Monday suspended a lecturer who suggested that men and women work colleagues could use symbolic breastfeeding to get around a religious ban on being alone together.
But after controversy in the Egyptian and Middle East media, university president Ahmed el-Tayeb suspended Atiya pending an urgent investigation into his opinions, the Egyptian state news agency MENA reported.
Atiya's unusual opinion was widely publicised by Arabic-language satellite television channels and featured in a discussion in the Egyptian parliament.The Dubai-based channel Al Arabiya quoted him as saying that after five breastfeedings the man and woman could be alone together without violating Islamic law and the woman could remove her headscarf to reveal her hair.
But a committee from al-Azhar said his proposal contradicted the principles of Islam and of morality.

It seems only fair here that someone make note that this man was ordered to face a disciplinary panel for giving such a fatwa. It seems that even the muslim university was offended by this.

And regarding Drohan's comments, perhaps I'm not understanding correctly due to the language barrier, but it would appear to me that we North American types are damned for not paying adequate attention to international news, and damned if we do. Aren't we often accused of being ignorant? So here is an international article of religious and political interest and Drohan is condemning us for reading it. Bother!
