Get togethers with large families are fun, and so are the ones with only parts of the family. I enjoy getting together with most all of my family whether it is all at once or a few at a time.

I see you come from a big family..My biological Mother had 10 girls and 3 boys. My sister MaggieMae blogs on here too. She is older then me, but considering the large family get togethers ...one every couple of years would work for me and I am sure for her too. Course her and I get together w/o the rest...I think it is wonderful to find someone who is from a large family and happy. Maybe if we had not been adopted it would have been like that....Nah! LOL

Hi Mademoiselle,
There was a time that I had no desire to be reunited with my family either, but not that I am getting more age on my old bones I am becoming more interested in the family that came before me and the different branches or our families--both mine and my wife's.

To be honest, I can't imagine why anyone would want to reunite with their family that often.
Or even at all, actually.
It's sad that a family can be torn apart
by something as simple
as a pack of wild dogs.
