Is that so, Enigmatic? Moonlight Drive was the first Doors song, I think.
The first one they collaborated on. And Hello I Love You was an early one.

Tony
F.Y.I. (in case you didn't already know), Morrison actually wrote "Horse Latitudes" in High School - then, several years later, decided to put on "The Doors" second album, "Strange Days."

Have a good day then, Mary!
PS: Over-used was a bad choice of words! I mean, well-used! Enjoy the tulips...

Tony - 'over-used imagination'? Hmmm.........
Oh, I know.  Quite often words strike me that way and I end up penning around the corner to further surprises.  It's fun and interesting.  That's how the poem I put up today started, just looking at junk in the attic.  Yes, I had a GREAT sleep last night, no mice and no cop cars.  lol!  Actually, driving into Ottawa to meet CorbinDallas and possibly Wiley at the Tulip Festival.  Should be fun as it's a grand day here, sunny and 23C!  Have a great day!

Good morning, Drohan - thanks for popping in!
It's strange - like I was saying to Mary, it frequently surprises me how these things turn out. It's almost as though I don't write them, some mysterious force does.

Hi Mary - good morning!
You have posted even earlier - as long as one gets enough sleep, and I did for a change - did you? - I usually find that the mind is more alert and able to do something really good, as you have done, and Troosha. Yes, your ideas were the spark, and it just went where it went. It was the combination of your ideas that resulted in the sonnet as it turned out. There's always an element of surprise as I write these things how they turn out - that makes writing them such fun. I hope you have a good day - are you doing much or taking it easy, resting that over-used imagination?

Tony - Good Morning!
Well now, you are a stubborn one, aren't  you?    Never in a million years did I think you'd go in this direction.  Very powerful sonnet this morning!  While poignant and moving it's brilliance shines one-two, three steps above air!  Very well done.
