My two favorite times to smile;
In a crowded supermarket, it's remarkable if you smile and make eye contact with everyone in your path...it's like an intimate connection with total strangers when they smile back and really can't help but do so, even the most crabby looking ones of all.
My second favorite is when I'm alone and thinking of the man who holds me heart in his hand; something he said or did or a gesture he made and it makes me smile, there by myself.........
It's sad when I realize I've forgotten to smile, reminding me that I'm in the moment but conjuring throughts of before or after....a smile brings me back into the moment, my place of peace & joy and the only place I truly feel the presence of God.
By the way, now that you've brought me to these thoughts, thanks for the smile!
