Go to Paper Ballots To Be Reintroduced Add a commentGo to voter fraud

I'm with Writeroflight, WLee. Great metaphor. Let's hope it isn't a
lethal injection, eh?  And you're right.  You don't think Barry Levinson and company made the movie Man of the Year without trying to make a salient political point, do you?  There is nothing politicians will not do to get elected (on both sides of the party line), but the GOP has to be the best organized bunch of underhanded election theives and con artists ever assembled.  Oh, and to the point of your post:  by all means, a paper trail should always be present.  Here's a system that will work, no matter how you do it.  Vote in triplicate, with one copy going home with the voter.  If a recount is necessary, the voters can go back in with their copy and revote.  (Of course, this would not eliminate "dumping" excess ballots into the populace, but nothing is foolproof, not if you wish to keep the voting secret...)

"From the state that injected George W Bush into the arm of America . . ."
Two thumbs up for a truly novel metaphor!  Also for using paper ballots.

voter fraud
I agree that paper ballots should be present.  Oregon voters participate by mail ballots.  Maybe we should try this on a nationwide basis.
