See you shortly, Neil - I need to get home and get writing!

Hi Tony

This incontinent sonnet’s full of shite, and probably that is why it is so bright.

I think that writers should sometimes write from there own lake, So said Mr. Blake

Thanks for clarifying Tony--now, waiting for your daily fare (our fare,
--if we be fair, would see it as unfair not to pay for our fare). see u later, here---and there. shalomfromneil

The modern composer may do that for one album's worth, maybe- fuelled by
cocaine, of course. Then they can't be arsed any more and go straight onto the reality TV and TV presentation circuit.

This one made me laugh.
I've got thoughts of a modern day Beethoven seated at a large piano on a diamond encrusted loo in an enormous bathroom.

Hi Enigmatic - you know, you really are too kind to your computer.
What it needs is more discipline.

Proc - you're right, there's more to this than meets the eye.
I'd probably have to break off from sonnet-writing in some circumstances - such as the police coming to arrest me! Not that they have anything to arrest me for, I must quickly add!

All I can say is - much better to have to answer the call of nature, when you're just getting ready to write - than to have a major, computer malfunction - of which I'm just recovering from my 3rd, and worst, yet!

You are such fun who else would write poetry with their legs crossed and how could the old masters ever have that problem. They were just a bust, they didn't go all the way to the floor.

Haha, very unique and entertaining verse, TonyZ!
Enjoyable read.

Hi Neil - thanks, mate. I must make clear though that, despite my
praise of Beethoven's work ethic, I do not follow his example. I do in fact get up when necessary to visit the toilet. I recommend this course of action to all Blogiteers.

Hello Mary - yes, you will need a good chamber pot.
At the end of the evening you just chuck the contents out of the bedroom window and hope no-one's passing by at the time.

Did Ludwig carry his own pot out the chamber? Would you? This sonnet shines
--or does it also shite! I like your wide-ranging topics. I agree that no subject is taboo in poetry, considering that it actually happened to you and Beethoven. I will pay closer attention to my poetry-ing and shite-ing coincidences now on. LOL Peace&Beer...only because manchester won the Premier League Cup. neil
