My comment is an old poem I once wrote
Death in Life 2/11/99
I read your letters again
twice or a million
doesn’t matter.
It took me to the time
Before you died.
Your hands reached for me
open like a daisy to me.
The roses that died that year,
were like you,
only branches and thorns
could I feel.
Your letters are the relic
to prove that you once loved me.
The man I know now
lives resurrected
from the death of the lover
you used to be.
