You continue to validate my point! You do very good research but through a very myopic  lens! You have no clue of Iraq's government or it's make-up under or before Saddam Hussein! We do know Iraq rejected Israeli and American attempts to subject Iraq to Imperialism and Colonial Rule! Iraq was a central refuge for Peoples who wanted to escape the "Totalitarian and Shiekdoms that dominate the region. Do you think you would be hearing about Syrian and Iranian influence over Iraq (though I doubt the credibility)?

Israel and America were concerned about the threat not from a miltary Iraq, but a powerful, economically stable, well educated, independent Iraq! A sort of twisted irony, Saddam Hussein used to confront Arabs Leadership that they were selling oil too cheaply! It seems Americans agreed with him!

It would seem the point of your post is that all Islam is rising up against Christians.  I asked the question below about Christian violence against African Americans, etc.

How can anyone say that the acts of a few represent the acts of the many.

And I will answer your question with another question:  why didn't Christians speak out in the 20's and 30's and 40's and early 50's regarding Christians committing violence against African Americans?

you infer that maybe Moslems support such violence; by the same token, it would seem that Christians supported such violence.

And again, in Hitler's Germany, before he came to power, when there was violence against Jews (a historical occurence for centuries) why didn't Christians speak out against it?  Why didn't Pope Pius XII?  Was it possibly because the supported it?

Seems like you want a war and you want it to begin here.

First, I haven' the power to delete anyone's "post"....i did however delete you comment that was a copy of your post. And I will do so again.  Nothing personal, but it's my blog and I don't "rent out" space to others.  I do that to anyone who tries to link to their post or copy their posts to my comment section.

I had no idea that Turkey was not an Islamic country.........and Pakistan has  converted from Islam, too? 

As to your question........you are so very wrong.....

It was more peaceful in Iraq under Saddam.....because it was a totalitarian government! The same goes for Saudi Arabia, Syia, Iran, and the majority of the countries in the Arab world........

I take it that you have the right to vote?  Are treated as an equal to men?

hi corbin it seem that you deleted my post which i put it here regarding mohammed letter about the good treatment for christian ...i don't know why if you are democratic let the people see then deicide what is wrong and right .....

if you notice you will find the killing which is happening it happens in non islamic country by islamic person and it is not happening in arabic and islamic country as it is more safe i'm living in arabic islamic country and with majority of christian people who came from all countries and i never heard that any one was killed by islamic people ..i mean our islamic country are more safe and more fair than other countries ..am i right or no

First, my moniker is Corbin  It is spelled C O R B I N.  Your perception of Islam which pertains to Love and Peace.......is certainly quite different from the events going on around the world.

Since you are such a peace loving person......surely, you must find such activities repugnant.  I invite you to condemn such actions.........

If only the majority of Islamic states in the world were as tolerant as you claim......I just stopped by the Visit Saudi Arabia site and found the following warning.......

Amnesty International has been  documenting the punishments for the  possession of a Bible there.......doesn't sound very tolerant, does it?

The crimes that are happening in the US being perpetrated by those who are so called Christians....are just that, crimes.    What Christian groups are  killing people because their spiritual beliefs are different.....I've not been able to find any instances of Muslims being beheaded in the US by organized, government sanctioned mobs........could you help me out with that?

It is admirable that you view your faith in such a positive light......but, I have a hard time buying into what you are claiming when heads are rolling all around the world. 

So I welcome your efforts at presenting your point of view........I just happen to have a differing one......and I have no fear of presenting it......that's just one of the many things that makes living in America so wonderful.....

Rocky.......I am not speaking to or for a religion.   I am only offering examples of actions of groups within a religion......groups that the vast majority of that religion chose to ignore as if they weren't there......we must always be aware of the threat that is out there.

As usual you miss the entire point of my post...... There was recently a post using an ancient letter supposedly written by Mohammed proclaiming his respect and love for Christians.  The purpose of which was to lull people into thinking that it is  a driving force behind  Islam's teachings. It probably is for some......but there are way to many Islamic countries that exhibit the opposite.

I believed  it would be appropriate to point out that there is a huge segment of Islam that certainly doesn't follow the words of that letter.   That their actions speak much louder that the letters words.......When Moderate Islamic leaders that proclaim their peaceful way speak out against such atrocities......then maybe we can believe that the letter is a tenet of their faith......

I concentrate on Islamists....those that hope to enslave the world.
