One thing that I can say is ... your boss is very insensitive to problems like this. She will only realise your difficulty when she is in your shoes! I personally see no harm in you going to work a bit late. It's better late than never.

No Reflection. The world is full of insensitive, stupid people.
Im overweight and its amazing how everyone has got the perfect solution telling me things I know and have tried. Theres nothing overweight people dont know about how to lose weight. But there's no book on motivation. No one chooses to be broke or overweight or have a sick kid or a brokendown car. Its stupid people who think they know your life better than you.
