While I totally agree with your points . . .
I think that the public outcry is that he is a white man who made a negative comment about black
people (that they were black
women is irrelevant--to the "powers that be" not to me). And I think that that is the same reason rappers are not "whipped" for the same type of behavior. For the most part, they are black, so they, in the minds of the "authorities," are allowed to say negative things about other blacks. And who cares about what they say about women. It's obvious we still do not have the equality we have strived so desperately to earn. It's a sad state, I admit.
