AND WHEN THE SHAOWER WAS OVER SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO BUY ONE THING. WE GOT TOGETHER WITH EVERYONE ON THE JOB AND WHEN I SAY EVERYONE EVERYONE WE DIDN'T LEAVE NO ONE OUT.FROM THE HEAD TO THE BOTTOM. SHE GOT BABYBED TO TEE SHIRTS. IF THE WHOLE JOB PITCH IN THE BUDGE WOULDN'T BE AN ISSUE. HAVE FUN

Yep. Party is going to be at work.  And we have a little under a month to plan it.  We want to have it on May 4th.  R is due June 15th.

Some ideas

One thing that new Moms need most is HELP, especially in the first few weeks. What if you gave her gift certificates for doing laundry, cleaning her house, doing her nails or hair, meals or any other stuff that would give her time to spend with the new baby?

If you (and she) has the space, maybe everyone could bring a meal that could go in her freezer?

Sometimes just an hour to have a bath is a godsend. Some gift certs to come by and watch the baby while she had some "her" time?

I remember all the cute little outfits that my son and daughter in law received as shower gifts. There were gorgeous, but they had to go out and buy wipes, diapers, lotion, etc. These things can add up but if everyone chipped in a few dollars you could get a nice bunch of the essentials, and wrap it in a plastic baby bath?
