Yes, proc, Jacenta and I have become very good friends. We write and tell each other what's going on with our lives and families. I love her and value her friendship. I also love her critters, particularly Baby. She lives with Jacenta, but she's my cat - ever since Jacenta acquired her. 
proc, it must be beautiful where you live. It's some place I always thought I'd like to visit. Please have a Happy Easter and God bless.

I enjoyed the comments as much as the jokesI love the sound of you and Jacentas families,and all that food.Thats what I miss most of all living overseas and my parents long gone.I miss the get -togethers at Easter and Christmas,the laughter,food and noise.Enjoy your loved ones.I live on memories.

Hi. I saw that kitty and right away I knew you would think it cute. I can't remember if I set up a "My Space" account or not.
I really don't use it and I looked at my pages of passwords and sites and I didn't see it there, with a quick eye scan. I was just experimenting again, sweet MaggieMae. Hah-Hah By now, I think you know how I am. I love to see if I can figure things out and how they work.
I am glad you made it to the Pondo Palace and back safe and were able to enjoy. The son that is coming back to live worked at Ponderosa for many years as head waiter. We always call it the Pondo Palace.
I love baked potatoes, especially. Here they give a complimentary one for pigs like me if you ask for one. Hah-Hah
We were also singing in the sunshine before the winter weather returned. Hubby and I were all over cycle riding between job responsibilities and we checked out our flowers, hand in hand, coming up all over the yard several times, but now those little buds are sad and cold. My mother, really Hubby's biological mother, actually had a blossomed daffodil before the cold hit again. I was the first one to notice it.
Your meal sounds scrumptious, especially the mashed potatoes and gravy. I usually fill up on them, squash and sweet potatoes and leave no room for desert! Hubby and I were talking about what we might do for Easter this year and we haven't decided, yet. We tend to do a lot of spontaneous things and I never really know exactly what we might do next. It is fun considering for so many years with a lot of children life was extremely structured and exceptionally busy. Hubby's mother called and told us not to buy any Easter candy this year, cuz she bought entirely too much. She loves to shop and I haven't been in a store, except to pay for gas in probably over a month. I don't like shopping, but Hubby does. That works out perfect. Hah-Hah. All of my children and grandchildren are doing well and the pets here all are doing fine, also.
My one son just called and said he has his truck packed and will be here by the 11th of this month. He wanted me to know his phone will be disconnected after this and that he is on his way to spend Easter with his other two brothers and families and then he'll head for home again after almost three years. One day, I foresee more of my offspring moving back, except those with long term finacial commitments and many years of hard work ahead of them, just where they are. Sweet MaggieMae, when this son arrives my life will change a lot. He'll drag me out to stores. I will laugh a lot, for now I am much too serious, oft times. Life just keeps a changing sweet Maggie and I am definitely blessed in so many ways. One blessing that I acknowledge is that you have become such a great friend. So, how's Jacenta? I haven't gotten to write you - last night my husband took me to the Ponderosa Steak House to eat. It was yummy. We did go through a whiteout on the road getting there. We couldn't see anything. We've gone that route hundreds of times though so there wasn't any problem reaching our destination. We got our steak and baked potato - YUM!
How's your weather? Did you have spring and then winter again? All our trees are budding, some flowering, and Hubby mowed our grass. We were our doing great things in the sunshine and then, the winter blast. Go figure! It's cold today (27, I think). I've got almost everything I need for Easter (all the stuff to make up their baskets (three of them, and one for Hubby - if I don't make him one, he'll be into the kid's stuff) hahaha He's the biggest kid of all. I still have to go get the ham and yams. My daughter will bring the fruit salad and desert (Mississippi Mud Cake) and daughter-in-law will bring macaroni salad and deviled eggs. I'll have to have some mashed potatoes and gravy, of course. Some black olives for my granddaughter. We won't go hungry, I don't think. Oh yeah, some dinner rolls. haha
