I know that rush. Only bet football and a few ponies. Not wild about slots but they seem to draw my in. Maybe it is the sound. I am the type of gambler that wins and leaves in a NY second. Good luck..

I know of anxiety and I know of insomnia. .

Hi Shadow - yeah, you know, when you lying there with eyes closed -

Thanks, everyone - I appreciate the comments.
I don't want to go on about this betting business, but the frustrating thing is that I SO NEARLY won a lot of money last night, but in the end just about broke even. As Bhaskar said, though, the difficulty is that when you do win, or even nearly win, you think you can win again and again, and the danger is you end up losing in the end.
I'm not trying to promote it, by the way, just using blogs for what they are there for - depicting what's going on at the time - good and bad.

Wish you all the luck, though It may not be proper, but I myself am, or, rather used to be inclined towards bettings (now that I don't have the finances and/or the guts)...I won almost a million rupees in the share market during Harshad Mehta's bull run (1992to1994) in six months, and then I became so reckless in my risk-taking the in the ultimate analysis, spreading over two years, I lost all that I made and a further Rs. 2 lacs - a lac is a hundred thousand - so I know when the stakes are on how much concentration levels are required. And don't forget to share the spoils (with me), especially in return for my stoking fires to go ahead and in wishing you the best of luck

Phew! I lost initially but managed to salvage most of it!
Overall, a lucky escape. Only a slight loss - not recommended! Sorry, but I'm too exhausted to do anything else tonight!
