my request was for your friend, to help me in fighting my cheese! But I do appreciate the bottle of Dr. Pepper and the reminiscences. I have actually never had one, but you can be sure that now, with the appropriate weather just around the corner, my next bottle of pop shall be a Dr. Pepper. And if you own shares in that company, so much better...

I'm not sure whether you want my friend or Dr Pepper to call you.   Although Dr Pepper was made first in Texas, my friend and I became acquainted with it in Muskogee, Oklahoma, where there was a large Dr Pepper bottling company.  We often rode our bikes over for the free tour and watching the bottles on the conveyor belts being filled and capped.   But the real impetus was the free, ice cold bottle of it for each visitor to drink

I shared this information with an Oklahoma redneck friend of mine and I thought you might get a kick out of his response.    "First wine snobs . .  . now they're doing it to cheese. They just better keep their opinions to themselves about my sacred juice aka Dr. Pepper with its "subtle aroma of vanilla beans doused in juice of the prune with just a redolent hint of summer sweat."

Im trying not to type anything cheesy here.. I guess cheese has feelings also. But I never heard of this cheese..must be a secret they are keeping in Britain since they want so much of it.
