Who knows how long it will remain "voluntary"? And x-ray rads accumulate
in your system, if I remember correctly. There's a cumulative affect that can impact fertility and possibly can lead to cancer. Or is that a misconception on my part?  For health reasons I object strenuously to this technology.

Well, in looking at photo 2 I understand the meaning of "crack kills"...
that's a big gun there in his butt crack.  And photo #1...his belt buckle and zipper...uh...nevermind...I'll behave THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, let me throw a spanner in to the works here. What if for example a
tumour is spotted or an unidentifiable something that because the security person isn't medically trained, just dismisses and says 'not in my job description'.

Not a terrorist, just a walking death sentence to nobody but yourself........'NEXT PLEASE!'

Well?

I think this is giving me a serious case of the creeps
this is a bit too far in the invasion of privacy.

Hahaha to your last sentence Corbin......they said on the news last

night that they were going to add a "privacy screen" so you can't see such detail. Yeah, right. This sucks...I'm not flying anymore!

I just wrote a post on how much I would dislike it.  I should have known that you would already be on top of the subject.  LOL

Nautikos, that's what caught my eye
Did they x-ray a pirate or something, is what I was thinking.

Corbin,
after all the comments from these eagle-eyed females, who, understandably, seem to concentrate on the southern sphere, as it were, I took another look. What I found interesting is something that was overlooked by everyone else: this guy has a chip on his shoulder...

I wonder if it sees IUD's and things like that... Sick thing to wonder, I

know.  However, as a woman (if I had something like that), I would find THAT embarassing more than anything.

Just my twisted take on it...

I do agree, though.  Why voluntary?  Not worth the money if it's voluntary.  And I wouldn't mind as long as a woman guard was looking at my scan or that of my daughters.

Presley....
Only you would see that first!

Perhaps he's had some problems and it's an implanted "pump"???

It wouldn't bother me.  What I want to know is:  What's that thing attached to this gentleman's - manhood?  I'm sorry.  Also, what's the round circle on his leg?  Tumor?  Mole?

I have no problem with it, especially since my weight is coming down, if slowly, and I'm beginning to look respectable again! But what's with this 'voluntary' nonsense? Unless it's, 'Well, it's voluntary, but if you don't volunteer you can't fly'...

hmmm.. I guess if its for safety I wont mind.  But like you what hell is it voluntary for?  "Please Mr Terrorist may we examine you, pretty please?" sheesh
