Happy Belated Birthday!

I know what it feels like to be forgotten by my family on my birthday. It used to hurt but I've gotten over it - I just forget theirs now. Hope you are doing well

Happy Belated!

Sorry to hear you were forgotten on your birthday. I know what it's like to be forgotten too. My 10th HS reunion is set for later this year and somehow of all the names of my classmates, they forgot to include mine on the list as having been a part of the class. On top of that, every time my co-workers and I order lunch via delivery at work, my order is either the only one that doesn't arrive, or the only one that is completely wrong. Don't sweat it though, things will turn in our favor someday.

I am so sorry that your Mom, step-mom and aunts disappointed you on your birthday. It's surprising that so many people don't think that things like this are important! I'd send them a note (or the next time you talk to them) and express how sad it made you feel. Maybe they will learn.
