The DNA comments you made might indicate a very efficient god, or, no god at all, depending on how you interpret those facts.  As for me, I can see no evidence of a god's existence.  That doesn't mean there isn't one, just that there is no proof and even less proof of which of the many gods worshipped on this earth would be the one true god if there were one.

Evil however, is in the eyes of the beholder.  Perhaps, if there is a god, evil is merely a way to cull the population in the most efficient manner.

Somethings don't need to be thought about
As a woman of action, might I recommend that you consider this. The DNA of a human is 98% similar to that of a chimp. Does this mean there is no God? Ofcourse not. It reminds us that when packs of monkeys in Asia start terrorizing and plundering villages, training dogs, riding pigs, raping goats and throwing feces at onlookers, and our jails are over crowded we might actually be incarcerating monkeys. Furthermore, I don't know how much this has to do with evil as much as misunderstanding the problem at hand.
