Corbin, well see, I don't like any in my own country, leant towards
the Green Party, but they're short on some of the practicalities.  I'd run for election here, but I have too many exes with too many stories.....

Anyhow, I've never let a difference in opinion stop me from a good old chat....same as yourself.

A friend gave me "State of Fear" by Crichton to read.
I haven't gotten to it yet but I will.

corbin dallas

A great post again my friend.

I just choose to laugh at all the politicians trying to heap blame on us all for causing what God has ordered, and I don't think for one moment we humans can change what is happening environmentally.

Even to blame all the folks with SUV's is nothing more than human jealousy to level the masses down to the same level of having nothing.

I drive a small red 4 banger because I  like to, but I sure hope that folks that can afford more can have more, and without the guilt of feeling they are causing global warming.

Global Overseering Deity.

To me He's showing us what He can do that's new, positive, and demands courage to live, He's not doing a guilt trip. Well, just my opinion my friend, I love global warming at -30c in the mornings, lolPlant more roses in the heat I say.

Al Gore intelligent??? He hasn't been in several colleges
to pick up a degree at each one......

Well I think Al Gore should be the next pope, all that intelligence

with the might and money of the Catholic Church behind him, he could actually get somewhere, and deservedly so.  I mean he might have to compromise on some of his principles to convert and all, but at least he started off with them in the first place.

I'd be one of those reluctant environmentalists because I've climate change happen in my lifetime in Ireland.  No more getting my wellies stuck in the snow, unless they're half inch high wellies that is.  My kids don't know what snow looks like on the ground, my eldest is 11 and has only witnessed one proper fall in her life (she was four, and chucked a mental because we could only get the carrot/nose to stay on the opposite way round).

I recycle, but have no other option but to use a car right now.   But, she's a 1 litre (999cc) so my guilt is less.  The Magic Mazda was a guzzler but is out of action now.

Corbin_Dallas,
You really have to get a life! There is this song that some group sings that interestingly has the chorus "what's the worst that could happen"? Suppose the environmentalist with "Religion" are wrong? What's the worst that could happen?

Corbin

excellent post! I had just started putting down some thoughts when you came up with this, especially Creichton's stuff, which I haven't read, but which is awfully close to my own thinking. In spite of that, you shall see a post about this in the not too distant future.

Mind you, it may not be until next week, since I'll be out of town from Friday though Monday. BTW, could you give me the reference (or site) of the Wa Wa business in Britain, possibly by email?
