Whatever global warming or cooling...
Turns out to be, it is better to conserve and limit pollution just to be good citizens of the Earth. We don't need to worry about saving the Earth after all, if it overheats, we will be the ones to go exctinct and the Earth will merely carry on as it has for eons.
