Joe, I don't measure people by their outbursts, I measure them

by whatever is the most sustained emotion/persona through their past posts/performances.

Sometimes that isn't a very reliable basis either, so I do what a lot of others do, rely on my gut instinct.  I would hope that when it comes to me, people would do the same.  I've had an outburst here once, and it was rash, there were cleverer ways to do it.  Doubtless it appeared out of context, I'm a slow burn when it comes to irritants, then it's pretty much Katy-Ka-Boom, but it's definitely not the measure of who I am, and I would hope to apply the same thinking to other people (bearing carefully in mind their historical past).

It's not an educated guess, but lets just call it best practice.

Joe--
Yes, I think they can, and yes I think some do buy in to the fantasy a little too much. But I don't see myself as falling into any one particular category you mentioned, i.e., the lovable ones, the deceitful ones, the sweet ones...like most humans, I am a complicated being and as such, on any given day or month I might fall into three, four or more of the categories. Yes I know, that wasn't the point of your post, but it's what jumped out at me. BTW, you probably don't give a mouse's behind, but you have won a Golden Quirky Award for Best Storytelling.

I like the idea of your blog...

I'm not sure how much genuine scientiific data there is, but there are some real peculiartities about internet relationships. They work by a different set of rules.

Shelly is pulling her same crap with me right now...she's turning into a drama queen. There are certain people with no real life in the "REAL" world that sort of find their fun, excitement, drama, here online.

Of course, we all do that to some extent. It's entertaining. But when this is all you have in your life, you're in danger of becoming like the old lady with 27 cats.

I suppose so..I have formed opinions and images of bloggers in the past and have been surprised when they were completely the opposite. I have even been wrong on gender..As for me..I think my fellow bloggers know me about as well as anyone. Lord knows I sure tell them. I am "nekkid" before them...lol ( now that's not a pretty thought)

Very interesting.  I don't think I want to know what you think you have discovered about me.  LOL.   Sometimes when bloggers here post a picture of themselves long after I have been reading them and have already formed a picture of them in my mind, my mind rejects that real likeness,  because I like my imagined one better.  LOL

I think anyone who spends any amount of time here

either has to show some level of themselves or they are good actors.  Sometimes one has to watch for little clues and hints as it doesn't always come out in their blog but by their blogging behavior, etc...  Make sense?

If the right (or wrong) button is pushed for any given person and often the real them comes out.

Interesting
post. I try to write here on a personal basis but also elsewhere in a series of blogs on all kinds of activities and with different voices. Today I wrote in my SoccerSpecial blog about my trip to a football match yesterday - very much a sports take - and also in BookMark on female abduction i.e. a view on current affairs. Interested to know what you think?
