I agree wholeheartedly with a comment below; marriage isn't the end all. I was among two that failed. But companionship is obviously your need. I can only speak from my own experiences because I don't know you other than your posts and profile. But if you pretend for just awhile that you don't know you either and explore the information regarding yourself here as you've shared with us, your answer may be there. You sound like an extremely responsible, giving, caring person that has directed all of her energies in taking care of and helping others. Some time life is crazy.....
I live with a very handsome man, who is my children's father who lives in his world and I am my own world.......Some time people live in same space being far away.. May be a kind of convenience....
