I hope it wasn't old age that brought this about.  I'm getting mighty close to old age myself.

Corbin,

even though we are accustomed to it, I still want to commend you again for the way you present your always well-researched material!

As to Carter, I had never paid much attention to him, but when I did I always thought of him as a well-meaning bungler. This sheds an entirely different light on his character, and I am disgusted! And his book? I had no intention of reading it in the first place, but now I shall talk to people who might have planned to do so...

Carter is both a money grubbing maniac and a nut!
The problem is he has been that way for a long time including the time he was the so-called President of the United States.

I am sick about this. Jimmy Carter has counted himself a Christian to the world. Any Christian who knows the word knows to go against the Jews is near denouncing your faith totally. God told Abraham "Those who curse you I will curse and those who bless you I will bless." That is as true today as the day it was written God is the same yesterday, today and forever. I would not be in his shoes for all the money in the Middle East. That is a total disgrace.

Did Carter deny the holocaust n his book?
In one section, typical of the book’s entire approach, Carter includes a “Historical Chronology,” from Biblical times to 2006, in which he dwells on events surrounding his 1978 Camp David Accords but omits the Holocaust.

Actually, I was not very impressed by Carter during his Presidency
He blamed the American public ("economic malaise") for his incompetence in domestic policy and he increased the embassy staff in Iran just prior to the hostage-taking.  His earlier policy basically opened the doors to Khomeini, who was considerably more brutal than the Shah.

Also, I credit Sadat more than Carter for the accords at Camp David.

This is disappointing to me to say the least

I have had great respect for Former President Carter in the past because of his non-biased  was of doing things and his efforts to bring peace in a way few others have done.  I have not read the book and from these reports I can't say as I will run out of spend money on it.   it's a shame.

By the way...love the layout!
