Maybe the sight of a cat looking like it had bullet holes in it kind of freaked your other cats out!!  LOL

As for your cat watching the TV, I discovered just last night that one of my dogs DOES INDEED watch television.  The show he started watching--The Dog Whisperer.

Nautikos
I think that perhaps in some small way she may think that Judge Judy was me in one of her nine lives.

cats are empire builders - they don't rest until they own the entire extended family, and go on from there...

There is something funny going on here...
Wiley and Rumored having a discussion about my wife being a panther...is there something she hasn't told me?

Rumoured Intelligence
You make so many references to your wife not being the cat in this post, that I have to ask you to come clean pal. Your wifey is really  a panther or something right?

she growls at the big cats? Like lions? That's funny! That's like sticking out your tongue at the Godfather from the safety of your couch...

our Mister Cat loves to watch movies with us in the evening.  He jumps up and snuggles between us, watching the show along with us, following the action.  Sometimes I fall asleep and sometimes he does too...

nautikos,
I was in a friend's house one day when her cat pawed the tv. Apparently, there was an ad on fish! How amazing.

It's funny the things that get them
My cat always reacts to big cat shows.  She lays in front of the TV and growls, it's funny as can be.

they're opening the cupboards? Maybe you can get them to do some housework as well, doing the dusting, washing dishes, that kind of stuff...

TAPS
well, I must say, that tops it all! Getting a charge out of Judge Judy myself on occasion (here she comes on at 6 PM), Pitiful certainly has a sense of humour. Or is it that, being saddled with that name , she commiserates with the pitiful characters appearing before Judge Judy?

Corbin,
the cat is hollow, and the 'polka dots' are holes, through which, on a pleasant summer's evening, a candle casts its glow on those reposing on Naut's deck, as they're drinking in the scent of the Jasmine, and that of the Dalwhinnie...

that's what you get for baking your oats rather than sowing them - the cat gets them...

I am a cat lover these are great stories. I also loved Taps story about Judge Judy. Cats are incredible.

nautikos--
hahaha! I can just imagine the conversation they had about the cat in the tree, like, What is that monstrous thing and how did he get so big? LOL.

One of my cats has learned how to open all the cupboards, even those up very high. Suffice it so say, "hiding" their kibble is an exercise in futility!!

Pitiful, my cat, insists on watching Judge Judy every day.  No matter where I am at 4:00 p.m., whether at my PC, or in the kitchen, or to the bathroom door she comes, yowling to let me know it is time.  She won't let me say "no" but sits exactly two feet from me looking up and staring me in the eye, yowling.  When I give up and move toward her, she jumps up and shoots into the living room and sits beside the little table which holds the TV remote control.  When I turn it on, she leaps up into the recliner, turns around three times and then takes her position facing outward toward the TV.  She stays there until it is over and then she jumps down and goes to use her litter box and scratch a while.   The big problem is that she does not understand the weekend thing of no Judge Judy on those two days.  She fusses at me because she thinks I'm just choosing to annoy her by not turning it on.

Put my oat rolls out under a cloth to rise in the sun ( Yes, I did, I did!!!!!! [5 screamers there, see] )

WEnt out to see how they were doing a little later. Rols, cloth, upside down on the terrace. Damned cat of ours obviously tried to climb up on the chair where I'd put them for a little kip in the sun.

Dunno if he tipped it on to his head. Hope so.

PS Rolls are okay. Delicious as usual. No thanks to blasted moggie!
