Wifey . . . , Ohboy!
Nothing more entertaining then having a suspected Meth-maker and known child and wife abuser moving back in next door!  LOL  Well. . , at least you'll have some interesting stories to blog about.  LOL

It sounds interesting, bel.  At least you won't be bored if your PC or television set breaks down.  PS, Don't let your neighbor near your dryer.

Corbin
the original structure was beyond repair, they have a whole new house.  Actually it's twice the house they had before right down to wood inlayed flooring and a finished basement.

Oh goodness Fourcats
now I am going to have nightmares.  You simply can't attend to that many children.

Taps
as much as I wish I could protect those kids, the system refuses to do their job so for now all I can do is protect mine.

sometimes that just doesn't make a difference.

I can't count how many times they have been over there and each time nothing changes.

I kind of like the fence idea, I don't know what else to do anymore.

Katray
Sadly, they have been called in before and everytime this man gets away with it.  Michigan is a disaster for their CPS services, I just pray that they figure it out before he kills one of them.

Tragic and frightening circumstances Bel
Abuse of children is intolerable - praying someone outside of the family will call the authorities. I've had my share of bad neighbors; not so easy to escape. Hope things work out!

Bel -
Sorry to hear that they are back. Remain strong, and things will work out the way they are supposed to.

It's that "beauty and the beast" syndrome at work - she sticks with
him thinking his "good" self will surface any day now. Or she's convinced herself she deserves whatever punishment he dishes out. You have my sympathy.  Maybe you could install an 8-foot privacy fence.

Too bad they are back Bel.....Anyone who mistreats their kids and animals

are poor examples of human beings. You're a good woman to take in their cats AND find them a home! Too bad someone doesn't do that with their kids! I'm glad I don't have neighbors too close by!

bel,
isn't child abuse against the law?

Bel
It sounds like you had good reason to be happy about the eight month reprieve.   Sad situation for those poor children.

my catholic neighbors in maine had seventeen children and
the 17th died as a baby - not that that inhibited the mother's intentions, she was fully into "the word".  i moved so don't know if they had any more kids but i can tell you the 16 she had were a mess.

Well, you can hope that they won't rebuild and move back.

what can I say? I can just picture the whole dreary scene, played over and over in thousands upon thousands of houses, on and on, and it will never be otherwise...

Aparently the woman is brain dead about this. If you see anything call the police and keep doing it until surely they will see the light. Oh it is almost as bad as being there in it as to be next door to them knowing the children are being abused. This sort of thing makes me angry and I am not easily angered.

Did the house get repaired???

Babe
Generally it doesn't but I still don't like having that kind of violence that close to my own child.

LOL Presley
I guess the first sentence does sound something like the beginning of a Poe story.

Uff da.  I hope their problems don't spill over across the property line.  Did they rebuild the house?

Bel
I know this is not a funny topic, but when I read the first sentence I lost it!  Once I gained my composure I straighted up!  I've never been in an abusive relationship so I have no place judging someone who stays, but when it involves innocent children it makes me want to shake the women.  I just don't get that part at all!
