Life has passed politics now. There is nothing a political party can do unless they really individually look at the enemy. We are so near the end politics are begining to fade fast.

Corbin,
believe me, I understand! I'm happy that everything is reasonably quiet on our own election puddle, but some of the waves from your pool are sloshing across the carpet...btw, EVERYBODY should look at what's playing in your movie theatre...and also btw, I am just at the beginning of putting down a few words on your positive-negative thing...

Muser....thanks for stopping by....
It's just that the LIBS are going to try and pull off a few things under the radar...and the mainstream media is going to keep the love fest going over the Presidential race....and now other states are trying to move their primary to February?????

There should be no primaries until June, conventions in August, and Election in November...that's more than enough campaigning

Corbin, I'm not surprised...it's just not any fun anymore!

Hi Corbin...I'm starting to feel like a deer caught in the headlights when it comes to politics!! Hillary Clinton as president...perish the thought!

Other than a couple blogs, I don't follow politics
for the reasons you site.

Diminished political interest, apathy, "what difference will it make" attitudes are prevalent in many countries.  Meeting upon meeting, promise upon promise, campaign upon campaign, and the working stiff still has to go to work, pay the bills, and put gas in the car.  Nothing really changes - that's the frustration.

Regardless of one's political philosophies and/or party affiliations, sooner or later after intense scrutiny, one will usually come to a similar conclusion. Often it's not about problem-solving, visions for the future, and/or what's best for the American people, but about politicians keeping their cushy jobs. It's the only truly bi-partisan issue.

It's easy to burn out on politics at this stage...I typically wait until after the conventions to get motived on the subject...Loved the poem..

Poety...Now I'm laughing, because I completely overlooked the misspelling until you pointed it out. Say Poety outloud!  It's funny!
