Ariel,
I would think you were right about the death rate here in the U.S. I guess we are OK with a lot of those deaths. We can't blame them on George Bush!

Sarooster

I read some time ago that deaths in the US through misdiagnosis, incorrect drug prescriptions, infections incurred in hospitals, medical incompetence, wrong operations and other causes ( Other causes? That in itself's a bit scary, huh? ) total ...

100,000 per annum.

Add to that the 33,000? deaths from gunshot wounds, other homicides, road and other accidents ( also higher than British rates )... well, no need to on, is there?

The average annual British death is approx; 630,000 per annum ; from a population of ( now ) 70,000,000, but as Britain's murder and other rates are much lower than in the US, your annual averagedeath rate must be far higher than this. Do the math, as you say LOL

Cool stuff this, innit?

Now, sarooster.....
There you go trying to put something in perspective that people just don't want to see that way.......No one cares about the "Prescriptionist Threat".
