I can't take credit for that spelling Presley,
because I got it from a writing buddy on another site. He never said where he got it from. So it's not mine and I can't take credit for its origin, but it's fun to use when I write.

LOL to your spelling!  Thanks for the clarification.

Presley,
I don't think the Republicans sidestepped too many issues. They took up the war against terror, they tried the abortion issue, and many other things. The problem is the massive liberal media hounded the GOP every step of the way. We never got the true story. We won't get the true story now because the media is in bed with the Dimocrats (my spelling). In you want to see how the Dims operate just look at what Pelosi did with the minimum wage issue, American Somoa, Star Kist, and her own special interest in the deal. That's what I mean when I talk about the Dims!! on abortion and most other things.

Republicans side step, too!  Let's be fair!  I think right now it's impossible to figure out what topics are temporarily being side stepped because of the war.  If we weren't at war I'm guessing we'd be hearing more on issues like abortion.

Also, I agree with your personal beliefs about abortion.  I'm against killing babies, and I don't condone abortion, but the sick reality is that a woman's got a right to do to herself what it is she chooses to do.

Solo,
Thanks for the read and comment. Abortion is such a terrible thing. Even if you believe it's the right thing to do or the right of a woman to have one the procedure is awful from a physical and mental standpoint. I don't think anyone every worries about that part of the issue. An abortion destroys so much. We all need to heed the words you have just written. They make a lot of sense.

Being a doctor or a politician doesn't make anyone fit to discuss abortion.  You have to be a mother who's experienced one before you have any say at all on the rights or wrongs of it.   An abortion is a careless or a purposeful means of hurting the mother and seriously damaging her future.  There is no other way to describe any act that removes a mother from her natural child.  With humans, you have truth and consequences to deal with, which means judgement from all sides.  After an abortion, the injured mother (injury depending partly on her previous place in society) learns that she cannot trust her elders, her legal authorities, her doctors or her advisors.  She becomes the aborted child, in effect, alone in a pool of sharks.

Outlaw abortion in all forms.  Remove rapists and child molesters permanently from their victims, but outlaw abortion, for God's sake, and forever.

Corbin,
It must have been some of the medicine I have been taking. I guess it fogged up my mind more than normal. Our Congress is so weak and utterly useless that it's sad to see. We have very few great men in our government. There are no more statesmen left; only liars and cowards for the most part.

Sarooster......
You're dreaming....I no longer expect much from either side......we are now in a state of perpetual campaigning, it's a great distraction from all of the issues....
