Hehehehehe Joe
It worked!  She came home giving us both hell for making her think "gross thoughts".   Parenting does have it's benefits!

Being all the adults that would undoubtedly accompany the school
group, I probably wouldn't have been bothered to let Pam go.  I found it quite humorous that you taunted her with "the columns".  I could imagine the girl walking past all these columns, letting her imagination wander over a torrid sex scene (or something like that).  LOL

Katray

They are wonderful!  In the summer they kind of recreate certain periods at the village and you can watch them make blown glass, churn butter, etc...

LOL!  Yes, Pam is much to easy to get with that kind of stuff!

Lol Bel, kids become so reactive to the thought of their parents behaving

as people. The museum and village sound really interesting; the car show blah...:)

We'll have to make plans for some weekend
In the summer the village has some pretty cool exhibits and events.  Then you can tell Corbin how cool it really is LOL!

Henry Ford is more than cars.  My eyes glaze over when mention of the Auto Show comes up.  You will have to come for a visit when the weather gets better and we will go to both the Museum and the villiage.

The kids don't even get anything.

Corbin et al

Well, if Darth Vader was gay, then who else will eventually be unmasked/uncloseted/unpanted?

Probably turn out that Dubya's having an affair with Colin Powell, and Condo with Pelosi. Or any combination of the four ; like musical chairs, see?

Must say it adds a bit of spice to life, dunnit?

Gerald Ford was gay?

And Corbin
Pam knows better than using the word gay in such a manner...she would never ever say that in front of me.

Corbin

The Henry Ford Musuem, not the Gerald Ford Museum.  Everyone loves it including the kids!

I know Shelly
I really could not figure out why they choose that as a field trip.  Why not The Henry Ford Museum!  Now that place is AWESOME!!!!

Naut

Maybe it's being from Michigan but I have never had much interest in cars outside of the '65 Mustang or one that gets me from point A to B.

Seriously, there are some areas that are bad and some that aren't too bad.  The business districts are pretty decent.

bel

why is it that anytime I am in Detroit (which hasn't happened much recently) I feel I should bring my own mace! Mind you, even here in Toronto there are areas now where I wouldn't walk at night, an I ain't exactly the timid type...

Actually, being a bit of a car freak, I had toyed with the idea of going down to take in the show, but it's snowing, and there's more snow and ice pellets predicted for the London area, so what's a five-hour drive anyway would become really tedious! Besides, I can't find my can of mace either...
