I wasn't aware of the attempts to unseat the Iranian President, but it's good news. I see where he is visiting his other twin loony in Venezuela. That's a scary thought..and as far as the other...well all I can say is he can't die fast enough, but who will replace him? Also don't you think the people of Iran really are beyond the days of being ruled by a tyrant? I thought they more progressive then that~

Yep, it's not a case of " No news is good news" but " Bad news keeps us afloat"

There are numerous factors at work ... well, fermenting, really ... under the surface of the Islam/West War ; not least of which is the potentially fatal divisions between rival factions on both sides.

We are likely to lose the war because of our complacency and ignorance ; they are likely to lose 'cos they have a fatal addiction for murdering each other.

Guess I won't be around to see the outcome.

excellent post! It would be a very positive development if the more moderate forces in Iran should regain the upper hand. And I certainly hope that "Ahmadinejad's golden era is over", but fanatics and zealots are not easily removed once in power...

In any case, you're right, this is the time for a major political offensive!

Corbin_Dallas,
Now! What does that have to do with the "real" fact that I have to go to work to pay taxes so we can defend people who can't control their own population? Who cares these people are not goint to talk to me or you anyway! It still amazes me with all this alleged conflict between nations not a single "oil" tanker has been lost or blown-up (except one of our subs collided with a tanker! any wager that the sub's skipper is Saddamed!)! You go figure that for me and get back when you have the answer!

Going into Iran has been inevitable from the beginning.  And, with the current address by Bush the other night, that time has finally arrived.

I didn't realize how gravely ill Khameini is...
What is absolutely amazing to me every single time is how people cling to power, even if they're only clinging to life by a tenuous thread.

Well Corbin

the only way mainstream media will report anything is if it smears our troops or hails the almighty naysayers.

This is very good information thank you for posting it.
