I'm so sorry for your awful experiences
I do pray you get your son back safely - There's so much injustice in the world today that it's hard to know exactly where to begin fixing it. God Bless.

Australia is the place where England sent all their criminals into exile ... Clue?

In Australia the film industry has the reputation of being
a young person's industry. I don't let this put me off. I made my first digital video short when my daughter was 4 months old. Since then I've been too busy with parenting, my job that pays the bills and socialising with my boyfriend to build on the skills I've developed so far. Blogging has been my creative outlet. Now a creative friend of some close friends of mine has arrived in towns and wants to make independent films so I have to call and see if I can help in some small way.

Also one of my NY resolutions for 2007 is to write a full length feature script within the next twelve months.

Don't give up on your dreams.

Solo

Like you I was probably in the top 10% of the graduating students. I had majored in music but ensured I had every science and language possible thereby opening up my options. The year before I graduated my mother said to me “I think you should take shorthand and typing as this will be the quickest path to a job”. There had always been some talk of having set aside a small amount of money to at least give my brother and I a start in University but on this particular day I was told there was only enough set aside for my brother. ????? My brother was already well entrenched in the drug world with no sights set on further education whatsoever. Fast forward – I did begin my working life as a secretary but eventually climbed (clambered) my way up the corporate ladder to a respectable level of success. So… not only does the school system misguide or discourage, even one’s own family can squelch a dream.

Important statement/point you made today.

R. I. ~
The last I checked, Harold O'Chester was still an Assistant Pastor at Great Hills after retiring as the main Pastor.

Solo, you certainly do have the right to complain and feel raped..
that "pastor" you had, I hope by now has been defrocked and disbarred b/c he has no right to be making statements like that while hiding behind a pulpit....
