My Humble Opinion and Other Works

Successful Enchiladas I did it. I made a dinner that could be appreciated beyond this danged medicine I'm taking. Mom declared it a great success, and even my picky husband went back for seconds. Now granted, I did use the directions on the can, but I embellished with my own ideas, they being: a can of tomato sauce, more shredded cheese and plain rice as a side dish. You may laugh if you can't hold back. Sign in to see full entry.

Instant Prince

Comfort? I found none. Only cold, hard pseudo "realities" scrambling to be set free of their fears. Who takes the place of the captor? Who makes us free? "Honey, I'll be back soon!" "When is that?" "Later!" "OKay! and pick up some of that "Instant Prince" while you're there... Alright?" "As you wish!" Sign in to see full entry.

Unworthy am I

Unworthy am I, unworthy, in all that you wish and in all that you've made. The price is too high and the road is too long from strangers so far from strangers too near and sure, we all care in our own special way. I did not see a baby alone in that painting now lost and set free in it's new home No, I saw a mother with her child. I saw a mother with her child... And no other prescription could be legal. Now, if I may be so bold as to differ... It does seem that current and traditional fads both have taken a negative turn into limbo. Do we support our troops or not? Yesterday, the most important thing here was getting our things together for a look at my sister's new land. My mother has been so worried, and yet her son-in-law and brother-in law can whip out a solid structure just like the professionals at a much lower cost. We worry ourselves over the tiniest problem and in doing so, the world... Sign in to see full entry.

Good Morning

(what's left of it) We've been getting over an illness. They say it's not contagious, but I have observed the facts, and more realistically, everyone is getting sick at the same time. Sign in to see full entry.

Did the cat make the Cattle thing, or was it the other way around... Not only was my great uncle a town mayor and a developer of housing, he also raised cattle. Uncle Bill was not a complicated man. One never would have guessed that his son's prestigious career was an inherited trait. Uncle Bill looked like your typical farmer but had a whole lot more going on. I remember as a little girl visiting the cows as he set out their huge bales of hay on that green place near the lake. I also remember... Sign in to see full entry.

Three photos added for a "Clue" regarding appropriate things to appreciate.

One of My Skirts Foreigners have been coming over here and talking about your bra size. Not only do these invading enemies always look entirely different from you, but they are the very ones who expose you to the lowest life forms due to their evil thoughts. They have no respect for women. Now, my mother was a fifties girl. I learned to respect her opinion. We wear full skirts below the knee, and we do not cover our upper half with a blanket. A nice fitted top does nicely enough. Unless, of... Sign in to see full entry.

What love should be ...

Once I thought to show you where our thoughts were bound, up with love's pure vision where before we'd found love was something healing not the hurting way love was how the Lord above gave us heart to play each day to play and love our life our way in every moment knowing we could love and be what love should be. I still love you. Sign in to see full entry.

Where you take me ...

I don't go back to that day you rolled up in disguise. I go to the soft love in your eyes. The gentle grin that loves to play, the memories of that memory's way. You don't take me to any place that I don't want to go, don't you know... Where you are, there must beauty show and be undone, again begun... And you take me so many times right back to where I'd be, if someone hadn't wrecked on me, if we had been what I said we should be... exactly the way we feel. Real. Always real and never touching... A Little Pay Tree Ought Ick.

My insult tis of thee, Great land of Liberty, of thee I type. Free to be bad or good. Free as Red Riding Hood. As anybody would be wise, not hype. NEVER MAKE A DECISION IN JULY. Steve Bernal, of Victoria and Austin, Texas, drugged me with an illegal, poisonous substance when I was in High School. I should have graduated with an A, because I was a very good student before he did that, but everything became much more difficult for me after Steve tried to hurt me. I am NOT willing to pay the price... Sign in to see full entry.
